New Modulus Compression System Manager (MCSM) Delivers Configuration, Monitoring, Software Upgrades and Fault Management for Large and Small Operations.
Modulus Video, Inc., announced a compression management suite that enables operators to closely monitor and control their AVC-based operations to ensure robust systems availability. Scalable to support operations from small subsystems to the largest, geographically dispersed network operations, the new Modulus Compression System Manager (MCSM) delivers configuration, monitoring, software upgrades and fault management. MCSM will be on display as part of Modulus Video’s complete AVC system demonstration during IBC 2005.
Featuring an intuitive application interface, MCSM is built on a secure, resilient and extensible client/server architecture for easy deployment and rock-solid reliability. Open standard protocols and interfaces such as Simple Network Management Protocols (SNMP) facilitate ease of use, support integration with third party systems, enable alarm forwarding, and make it possible for higher level managers to directly and easily control Modulus sub-systems. MCSM supports standard definition, high definition and mixed operations.
