New Version of NXPowerLite

NXPowerLite optimises PowerPoint presentations by compressing the graphics and embedded documents contained within them, making them easier to handle, distribute and share.
Neuxpower also announced NXPowerLite 2.0 Integrated Edition at the show - a special version of NXPowerLite that lets users optimise their presentations from the PowerPoint menu bar or by rightclicking them in Windows Explorer. Tommy commented “Many NXPowerLite users love the fact that it is a stand-alone tool that makes no changes to their PowerPoint installation. But some people have told us that they would prefer to optimize their presentations from within PowerPoint. With NXPowerLite 2.0 we offer you the choice.”

I often (hundreds of times) have jpg files that the background is erased from by conversion to png. Is there a way that release 2.0 works with .png files without restoring the white backgrounds but leaves them erased?

Joel,
Yes, NXPowerLite 2.0 fully supports PNG images with alpha transparency.

Version 2.1 contains a few improvements, including support for CMYK images.
