Korea & QuVIS Provide Another Digital Cinema First, Take JPEG2000 Ahead

The QuVIS server, supporting DCI JPEG-2000 with an upgrade path to 4K, is part of a partnership project of MegaBox Cineplex Inc. and Dong Young iTech The QuVIS server, supporting DCI JPEG-2000 with an upgrade path to 4K, is part of a partnership project of MegaBox Cineplex Inc. and Dong Young iTech, which will debut at the end of this year. The installation will be the world’s first multi-screen deployment of JPEG2000 servers with network delivery and remote theatre systems.
