At first my MP3 could take type of battery but at present it can’t take one.indicating low battery even a new one can’t tune it on for long it will just last for a minutes then off.please help me

I dropped my MP3 player and now it freezes on the first screen whenever I tur it on. I think i knocked something loose inside. HELP ME!!!!
